This is @jonyyuwono, fellow runner and an idealist. He is the man behind Riki the Rhino and his duck best friend. There’s a backstory to how the duck got hairless, but it’s not on my part to reveal how.
This drawing is another effort to raise awareness against animal poaching in Indonesia, particularly in the Sumatran forests.
The cat character on his shoulder is another one of creation too. Follow the story of TaMA on Facebook.
As you can see, Jony is a very creative guy, and the least I can do to celebrate his birthday early this month is by interpreting these fascinating personalities as best as I can
To keep you away from the Monday blues, here’s a little something to start off the day:
A small greeting to remind my boo that I love him so.
Happy 17 months babe
Not that way.
But this way:
I had 16 months of happy moments with Stanley, and looking forward for more moments to come.
This is a birthday present I’ve been working on for 3 consecutive days especially for my friend of 6 years, Alex. He loves Choi SooYoung of Girls’ Generation, so I placed her by his side while holding his hand.
He’s also an avid fan of sports, particularly soccer. A big Chelsea FC fan, I dressed him in the team’s jersey too.
He ended up loving it I think I’m going to start consistently making personal birthdays gifts like this and this for my close friends. It’s rewarding for me just knowing that they love it.
This is a character study I submitted for a contest on sribu.com. The need to raise awareness against animal poaching is increasingly becoming crucial, as now the Sumatran rhinos are critically endangered.
I hope Riki the Rhino would capture the hearts of people to win this fight.
