Probably the product I’ve used the most and longest, a spray or two of L’OCCITANE en Provence Eau de Toilette is more than enough to give me the extra oomph I need from day to night.

I agree, the mention of plain old lavender sounds blah, but this mild fragrance smells true to the plant, calming my robust nerves early on in the morning to wind down for a relaxing night – sans coffee, though maybe a cup of tea. Ah, what a winsome day it has been.

Never fails to act as a sedative drug for me, I hardly make an effort to have won a charming beau except by spraying this fragrance on my body, and he breathing deeply into me, tingling, planting soft kisses on my neck. I feel like a duckling emerging into a swan, reaching outward to the world immersed in this soothingly seductive melange.

It’s like a divine rapture or a stimulating massage; like the plain old scent of a classic lavender flower.

Girth
: The measure around anything; circumference.
: a band that passes underneath a horse or other animal to hold a saddle in place, especially one having a buckle at each end for fastening to straps running from under the flaps of the saddle.
: something that encircles; a band or girdle.

A woman is like an apple tree. Men, whether they are conscious or not, being the human that they are, first judges her on the moment they lay eyes on her girth, rather than her birth. The judgment magnifies with the bulk of her produce: The more fruit she bears, the more attractive she is. The man chooses the woman who yields the most harvest.

But, the question is, do those apples taste as good as she looks? Or are they merely immature crops deserving more time for worldly cultivation? Do they deserve such sophistication?

A woman must nurture her self, for it is her duty to give her man a taste of bittersweet knowledge – wisdom.

Coddle
: to treat tenderly; nurse or tend indulgently; pamper

Hidden in the darkest corner of the French bistro is a pair of lovebirds sitting tête-à-tête. The man appears to be coddling her with rose-colored glasses the whole time, leaving their steamed coq au vin untouched. He fondles her gentle ears, her soft hands, then he takes off his right shoe, lifts up his naked foot to hers, then keeps brushing his bare skin onto what seems like the most comfortable sensation in the world, their eyes never leaving each other’s. She smiles her shy smile now and then, cheeks reddening by the minute, enjoying every second of his adoration.

Suddenly, he takes her chin and pulls it closer to his face, and I’m guessing he’s ordering his dessert. “Be my crème tonight.”

It’s getting late, and I gotta run. But I can’t help but lean forward in admiration, watching such a beautiful sight – their white hairs brushing against each other, their wrinkles creasing up and down during those long, slow kisses, their little eyes seeing only each other, completely oblivious of the emptying restaurant.

Happy golden anniversary, strangers, I smirked. And then I get up and leave.

Intersperse

: to scatter here and there or place at intervals among other things.
: to diversify with something placed or scattered at intervals.

How To Get Things Done,

Intersperse your time.

Schedule intervals of one project in conjunction with intervals of other tasks, make it a maximum of 3 things to do at one time for work, but in life,

How to Be More Productive,

don’t limit yourself.

The exception: When you know yourself enough to reduce the amount of things you can juggle at a time. If you think you can, you can.

Also, cutting down things you really, really, really want to do (you have to say really, really, really. Otherwise, it’s not really what you want to do) helps you focus.

… and more (wanting less).

Just because a meal is served on a big plate doesn’t mean you have to finish it all in one sitting. Besides, serving others is a fun idea.
