What’s a little one like me doing in a big world like this?

Ever feel like the world’s turning its back on you?

 Limber up :)

Despite everything, stay open
to the great, big world.
NO MATTER HOW BIG
OR LITTLE YOU FEEL YOU ARE,
EVERY LITTLE THING YOU DO –
A BRIEF GLANCE; A SMALL SMILE; A SIMPLE PRAYER –
HAS POWER
THAT REACHES OUT
FROM ONE LIFE
TO THE WHOLE WORLD.

Funny how you and I are in different parts of our lives, you are half my age, and yet, you describe yourself very similar to the way I describe myself. I don’t know how to draw pigs and I am puertorrican. To me, the funny one was “writes in English”.

English is not my first language, and yet, that is the language I find easiest to write with. Maybe it’s because Spanish has all those accents and rules, lol. I love the pic of the pinguin and I love your poem. It is true, every little bit can be the seed of something great. Or at least that is how I understand it. Keep writing.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment :) Visited your site and realized you’re part of the NaBloPoMo blogroll too. It’s funny cuz I had a meeting just last night and met people double my age who speaks Spanish and Portuguese! Yet they still prefer communicating in English all the time. It’s a reality that we’re living in a more global community now, and with the English language so rich in vocabulary compared to other languages I know (I assume including Spanish too, yeah?), we might as well express ourselves in the most eloquent way we possibly can :)
      Keep writing too Roxana!
