There can be no words to describe how much I admire Miranda Kerr.

Recently, she’s been poising her svelte figure over dozens of magazines, notably the upcoming issue of Vogue UK.

Out of all the Victoria’s Secret Angels I’ve been madly in love with and, for years, sought body motivation from, Miranda Kerr has captured me through her otherworldly beauty the most. She’s beautiful from the inside out.

Her skincare line, KORA Organics, has also recently been voted as numero uno at the Audi Women Of Style Awards in Sydney.

OK. At this point, I sound like a lesbian. But no, I have a loving boyfriend whom I fantasize about everyday.

In her editorial feature on Vogue UK, she shared what she has learned from her Nana on love and life, which I think is worth sharing. “She was, like, ‘Now, love, don’t let yourself go. “Men are very visual and I think it’s important that you wake up in the morning and get yourself together. Don’t slop around the house all day in your pyjamas.”

OK, Miranda, I got that from a long time ago. Somehow when I was single, I tried so hard to keep myself busy that I was never at home. As time goes by, now that I’m attached and life’s getting harder, I kind of like the comfort of lazing around all day after a long week of crazy schedule. I used to be guilty about it but now I’m pretty comfortable with it.

“It’s true. They tell you, ‘It doesn’t matter what you wear or what you look like, I love you anyway,’ but they notice when you make a little effort for them.”

That, I understand. When I slop around the house, however, I put on facial masks and creams while having a detox in my diet all day too – that’s the comfort of being at home all day!

Yes, girls, it’s true what she said. No matter how many billion times your boyfriend tells you that you’re pretty no matter what, you still have to make an effort to keep it up – not too much that it’s high maintenance. But a little effort goes a long way, if you know what I mean

(Besides, there’s nothing wrong with walking around the house half-naked, especially if you’re wearing a ‘surprise’ Victoria’s Secret lingerie for your loved one when he comes back home from work). (I’ll remember this when I get married later).
