Spicy classic!

Courtesy of MAMALOLI’s recipe. (I substituted a lot of these ingredients!)

Ingredients: (Makes 2 servings)

1 bowl cooked red rice (300g)
1 c old kimchi (sour kimchi)
1 c turkey bacon and mini sausage
2 teaspoons Gochujang (korean red pepper paste)
2 teaspoons sesame oil

2 eggs (sunny side up) (optional)
nori furikake (optional)
1/4 c onions, chopped (optional)

Preparation:

Dice the kimchi, bacon, and mini sausages.
Heat a large wok. Add onions and saute for a minute.
Add to cook the diced bacon and sausages.
Add the cut kimchi to the wok and cook for about 2 minutes while stirring.

Add rice and 2 teaspoons of sesame oil and stir well for a minute.
Then add 2 teaspoon Gochujuang and keep stirring and sauteing for another 2 minutes.

At this point the kimchi fried rice is done.
I added crushed nori furikake and stir for another minute.

Garnish parsley leaves and eggs, sunny side up, to serve.
