Stacia’s personal challenge of the week is sleeping for at least 7 hours a day, or, if not, napping throughout the day, to revive her energy. To see her upcoming challenges, check out her challenge of the week page under the Agenda tab.

So, what a difference a day makes. Especially when you only get to sleep for about 5 hours or so.

Restructuring your blog. And buying a domain.

First off, welcome to my new URL: www.staciapriscilla.com! It’s now fully functioning, and you can type less on the browser now.

Second of all, I overate. Simply said. Well, if you want more devilish details, I ate about 3000 calories today. And you wonder why I stay slim.

The good thing about watching how much sleep you got in relationship with the quantity and quality of what you eat is just fascinating – a week ago, I also ate that much calories, only the bad quality. I think I ate some white bread or such, and there’s really just sweets and tons of binging on almonds. Throughout the week, I actually stocked up on a lot of food in my pantry. Whole wheat tortilla, buckwheat soba, quinoa pasta, fresh pea tips, alfalfa roots, arugula, garlic, onion, low-fat cheese, pure soymilk, TLC and Cheerios cereals, flaxseeds, blueberries and strawberries and blackberries and little apples… And I swear that I’m seeing tons of differences already just by changing what I eat, despite eating that much calories.

The thing is, I don’t require that much.

My day is just full of sitting in front of the computer doing my homework on Adobe Illustrator, plus walking about places to check off my to-do list. And showered twice.

When I got back home, my roommate gave me a piece of strawberry cheesecake made out of the school baking class (my roommate studies in a culinary school) so I think the sugar’s building up the buttercup in me too. But all in all, I think I have only my sleep deprivation to blame. Because self-control is, I believe, unlimited, or limitless – whichever is fine.

So yeah, I think I should sleep earlier today. Just to catch up. Can’t wait for this Sunday’s switch of daylight savings! One extra hour of sleep is as precious as you make of it.
